Meet up with Owl Radio in the Social Science lobby for the exciting game show, “Win a Date with a DJ”. Random contestants will be chosen to answer questions and be chosen by the DJ for a date.
It is this Thursday the 12th from 11am-3pm.

UPDATE:
3 random contestants from the social science lobby will be asked to play the game with each different DJ.
The event is to gain exposure for Owl Radio and introduce its DJs to the general population. Radio is about personalities. Hosting and setting up an event that only does the dating game for students does not introduce our DJs to students.
For those who say that it is only to benefit the DJs, the “date” is actually a large group dinner. It isn’t one on one and it is just for fun. The actual “date” isn’t the sole purpose of the event. We may hate sunlight, love weird music, and talk too much, but we aren’t that desperate for love.
As mentioned in a comment on this thread, plenty of other organizations have done similar events, and some even did date auctions that required money. We aren’t even using the event for fundraising.
Lastly, can’t we all just lighten up a bit and have some fun?

what does it matter
this is by far the lowest for owl radio…I don’t think that it is even for owl radio but for the pleasure of the dj’s. How bout make it for the students the next time.

I agree! I don’t think that this is a way to get people to listen to owl radio, but just to date the dj’s. This is only for the dj’s benefit to meet sum one not to bring listeners. I think this was the sole purpose anyway.

Yea this is a lame way to try and get listeners. I think like the others said that this only benefits the dj’s or who ever is in the contest. So the girls who think they pretty are the dj’s and think they can get some attention by doing this. Wrong! You are desperate. Owl radio needs to do better to please the listeners not the dj’s or staff.

I think it’s cute idea. The greeks do auction dates all the time for attention and to help charities. At least owl radio isn’t asking for money. They are just trying something new. Give them a break.
