You guys out there in the Wastes know how I feel about the more creative members of the video game community. And how I feel about my old stanby: the Classic Mega Man Series. I’m a fan, by the way, in case I was not clear.

Anyway, it seems a few other the more intrepid amongst us has taken it upon themselves to create an 8-Bit version of Mega Man 7, free to download:

Mega Man 7 the one entry into the classic Mega Man system that was on the SNES, and while it had a charm all its own, this 8-bit version will certainly strike somethin deep within you, be you one of those select few that got to play this series in their youth.

While this remake is in japanese, it’s fairly intuitive (it’s a Mega Man game, not a German Impressionism Film), so you shouldn’t be in too much trouble.

If you got a charge out of that, it appears as if the same group is making an 8-bit version of Mega Man 8. An impressive (and extremely hilarious) 8-bit version of the anime intro of the same game:
