An idol, an outcast, a visionary. Controversial, talented, strange, and prolific. Revered by some, spurned by others. The moonwalk, the glove, the chimpanzee. His influence on music is undeniable. The King of Pop is gone.
Tonight, we’ll briefly detour from our local music playlist to pay tribute to Michael Jackson. We’re playing his hits, other artists’ covers and tributes, discussing his impact on the music industry and taking requests. From Off the Wall to Invincible, we’re partying it up.
Then, locals Some Sort of Substance joins us in the studio. Amazing guys who bring a warm hearted blend of rock n roll to the table, I’ve been waiting all week to sit down with them and talk. Per custom, they’ve also agreed to play a set for us, and I think you’ll really enjoy it.
As always, it all goes down tonight, 10pm-midnight @ ksuradio.com. Don’t miss it.
