Seems the show was a good one and support and listeners are starting to flow. I took the old FWOD show and did a bit of an upgrade. Seems there was a wonderful idea for a show that died before launch. I liked this concept for the simple reason of it deals with something we all encounter one way or another. Relationships. Relationships and everything that comes with it. Dating, commitment, breaking up, hooking up, sexual relationships, plutonic relationships, the good, the bad, the ugly, and the humor associated with it all. This was a show concept our little station couldn’t let slip by, so I asked to pick up the show and see what can be done. After 2 shows to get our feet wet, I consider last night to be our first REAL show.

The name of this show is “Carnal Knowledge”. Perhaps the title makes you think this is a show about sex and sexual relationships, but believe me, it is so much more. The new format is a discussion between myself and other KSU students, with other Owl Radio DJ’s dropping in to help keep the discussion flowing along. During the week I take random questions from random people around campus. Just any questions they have regarding relationships… plutonic to sexual and everything inbetween. The show also takes questions from chat along with taking calls. During the show we randomly address questions based on personal experiences, and simple thoughts on the matter. Of course we let the audience call in or use chat to give their two cents on the matter as well.

So folks, mark every Thursday on your calendar and set aside 10pm to Midnight to tune in and catch a show that deals with the questions you and your fellow classmates have on sex, love, like, dating, breaking up, how to approach, how to run away, and overall perspectives on relationships. We here at Owl Radio look forward to bringing you some fun perspectives and perhaps a little insight on questions that come from YOU the students of KSU.

Spring break is around the corner looking to be broken. So in celebration of the oncoming and inevitable chaos that will ensue… here’s a bunny with a pancake on its head.

Just to give you a hint at what I am about, I see it as very simple.  Life is absurd.  Our customs, beliefs, values, idealisms, views, and other idiosynchronicities are humorous in one way or another.  So I choose to make fun of it all.  No maliciousness, just me looking at life at a different angle than all the rest.  I do enjoy classic rock and all genres of rock, but I love other genres as well.  I’ll rant, point, laugh, and make an ass of myself from time to time while I’m at it.  I don’t fear looking the part of the fool, for I know the truth is that we are all fools merely waiting to deliver our punchline to bring a brief impact to the world we live in.
