This past week was the opening of Michael Jackson’s highly anticipated documentary “THIS IS IT”. The film was extracted from 100 hrs. of rehearsal footage from M.J. ’s upcoming tour, which never happened. The who’s who of Hollywood will be out in droves to see this film. But Why? Yes M.J. is a POP Icon and his music will live on forever, but Why is this film getting so much hype? Is it because this is the last time we as the public will see Mr. Jackson on stage? Or is this just an attempt to milk M.J.’s death for everything that it’s worth? Hmmm… Something to think about right. Would M.J be happy about the release of his rehearsal footage? It is a rehearsal, therefore he wasn’t at his best. No one is at their best in a rehearsal, but they show out for the real thing. Despite all the controversy surrounding Michael Jackson and his film, I do hope he rests in peace and that peace will come to his family also. This is it!
