Thank you for tuning in. In today’s blog we will dive into our weather which…SUCKS! Today, January 24, 2010, I woke up to a light sprinkle outside almost as if that time of night when the dew is formed, was pushed back until daybreak. At first glance I thought it would pass when the sun rose and the clouds would part, however as the day progressed the droplets of water got bigger and fell with torrents. It is now mid afternoon as I am writing this blog and to add to the gum ball sized water droplets hitting my windshield, the strong winds remind me more of hurricane season than of winter delight.

This weather sucks.

If I had it my way it would be snowing right now. I understand this means a sudden drop in temperature and road conditions even more hazardous than they are right now, but coming home from a cold rainy day does not make me want to sit by the fire as much as a cold snow day. I almost feel living in Georgia and owning a fireplace is a luxury not needed. I hereby send out my request to all those concerned that between the months of December and March rain should be outlawed and snow fall in it’s place. I know this is a request both big and nearly impossible to accomplish, but it needs to be done. And if we all strive for this goal then maybe bad weather and “rainy” days in the wintertime will be somewhat enjoyable.
