I’M TIRED OF SHOE MODELS TAKING MY MONEY! For, those of you unfamiliar with shoe models, they are women, who work at establishments with stages and poles, and are paid in tips, to model shoes and dance, for various patrons. I have been to two bachelor parties in as many months and both times the shoe models were creeping on a come up like they were at a Bone-Thugs concert. The first time was at a place I’ll call the Red Fire. I was attending the bachelor party of one my brothers in law. I proceeded to purchase two dances for myself; I mean at five dollars a dance how could I not contribute to Destiny’s college fund. What followed was quite possibily the worst lap dance ever given by a shoe model. She just stood in front of me slightly swaying to the music for two songs. At one point I could hav e sworn that she was going to break out the Bankhead Bounce circa 1998. After her miserable performance, that could have rivaled Jessica Simpson’s acting job in The Dukes of Hazzard as the worst perrformance by a paid entertainer in history, she proceeded to walk off with my 20 dollars without giving me my change. So not only did I waste 10 dollars, on two terrible dances, I wasted 20. I felt like R. Kelly’s prom date. This past Friday, I attended another bachelor party this time at another shoe modelling estashblishment I’ll call Gold Drinking Age. It was here that I bought a dance for the bachelor, which turned into five, four more than I ordered, after which the shoe model had the gall to walk over to me and tell her I owed her 50 bucks. 50 BUCKS!!! Was she kidding, I might as well have dropped the soap in prison the way she worked me over. Now I’m no baller, heck I’m broker than the 10 commandments, and I already have a steadfast rule against giving garden tools money; therefore, on those few special occasions where I give them money, mostly bachelor parties (soley because in those situations it is considered rude not to tip at least occasionally) I don’t expect to get robbed like Shelden “The Slumlord” Williams at the barbershop.
Now that I’ve ranted about shoe models, I guess it’s time to actually get into some sports talk. The big thing this weekend was of course the NCAA Men’s basketball tournment, of course the women’s tournment was going on too, there’s less interest in that than a profilatic sponsored by Shawn Kemp and Bobby Brown. Sorry ladies I know the women play and practice just as hard as the men, doesn’t mean I want to watch. Let’s keep it real, the chess club puts in a lot of work but nobody cares about them either. UNC, Michigan State, Villanova, and Uconn, no cinderallas there, the glass slippers got smashed like Courtney Love. The Dukies got dookied on and Louisville, got monkey stomped, as did Oklahoma. I was surprised by none of this, mostly because this weekend was the most college basketball I watched all year. In fact I didn’t watch the UNC game; because I was watching the Hawks lock up Hobe Bryant like they were the Boulder Colorado police special victims unit. It was a good game, and it got me excited for the NBA playoffs. I tend to not watch much basketball until this time of year, mainly because my wife hates basketball like the KKK hates O.J. Simpson, and since I dominate the remote during football season I give her some reprieve during basketball season. Well that’s all I got for right now call the show or respond to the blog to let me know what you think out there.
