On August 26, Young Thug released his newest mix tape, “Jeffery.” This mix tape is also the first where he takes up the persona of Jeffery. As soon as “Jeffery” came out, I was obsessed; I was listening to it on the way to school, work, you name it!

What I really love about this album are the names of the songs. If you notice, 99.9 percent of artists title their songs based on the songs’ respective subjects—not Jeffery. He named his songs after his favorite people (And gorilla; RIP Harambe). What I can take from this is the style of his music has a little influence from the people named after the songs, and that is so creative to me. Personally, my favorite songs on “Jeffery” are “Wyclef Jean,” “Swizz Beatz,” “Future Swag,” and “RiRi.” I highly encourage all listeners of OWL Radio to give “Jeffery a listen!
