The Center for Sustainable Journalism at Kennesaw State University, a leader in the national exchange of news and information about juvenile justice and the youth services industry, will begin producing its online and print publications in new offices specially designed for the growing enterprise. A ceremony featuring Georgia First Lady Sandra Deal will mark the official opening Feb. 27.

Our deepest condolences go to the family and friends of Bernard A. Zuckerman, philanthropist and university benefactor, who passed away peacefully at 7:50 a.m. on Feb. 22 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. He recently celebrated his 91st birthday.

The 16th Conference of the Former U.S. Secretaries of Defense, which had been scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28, at Kennesaw State University, is being postponed.

Representatives of the Southern Center for International Studies’ (SCIS), organizers of the event, notified Kennesaw State University officials that “circumstances beyond their control” have developed, forcing the event to be rescheduled.
